View change history

Every definition keeps a record of how it has changed. The Change History tab on a definition record lets you review property and definition changes over time — useful when you need to confirm what was altered, and when, for a definition that feeds regulated output.

Before you start

• You need the Definitions view permission to open a definition record. See Roles & permissions.

Open the change history

1. Open the definition from the Definitions list.
2. Select the Change History tab.
3. Review the entries. The history shows property and definition changes as they were made over time.

History complements versioning

Change history records edits made to a definition; versioning is how you make a controlled change once a definition is locked. For a full picture, read change history alongside Locking & archiving, and check the account-wide Audit log for actions across the platform.
