Logging in
This page covers day-to-day sign-in: entering your credentials, what to do when sign-in fails, choosing an account if you belong to more than one, and logging out.
1. Sign in
Section titled “1. Sign in”- On the Login screen, enter your email address and password.
- Select Sign in.
- If you have set up multi-factor authentication, complete the challenge next — see Authenticator app (TOTP) or Passkeys.

Why “Invalid email or password” is deliberately vague
Section titled “Why “Invalid email or password” is deliberately vague”If sign-in fails, DASH always shows the same message: “Invalid email or password.” This one message covers a wrong password, an email that does not exist, and an account that has not been verified yet. The wording and the response time are identical in every case — this is a security measure so nobody can tell which emails are registered.
So if you cannot sign in, check all three:
- Is the email typed correctly?
- Is the password correct? Reset it if unsure — see Password reset.
- Did you verify your email after registering?
2. Choose an account (multi-account users)
Section titled “2. Choose an account (multi-account users)”If your email is an active member of more than one account, DASH shows an Account Selection screen after you sign in.
- Each account is listed with its name and your role in it.
- Select the account you want to work in.
- You are taken to that account’s dashboard, and everything you do applies to that account only.
To switch to a different account, sign out and sign back in, then pick another. If you try to open an account you are not an active member of, DASH refuses with “You do not have access to this account.”
3. Log out
Section titled “3. Log out”Select Logout (available on every screen) to end your session and return to the Login screen.
- Logging out on one device does not sign you out on your other devices — you can be signed in on several at once.
- Your session stays active as you move between pages; you are not asked to re-enter your password. If a session expires, DASH renews it silently where it safely can, or sends you back to Login with a clear message.
