Trial limits

On a trial account you can explore and prepare certificates freely. Three release actions are reserved for paid plans: generating XML, signing, and submitting a certificate. If you try one of these on a trial account, DASH refuses it with:

(The underlying response is an HTTP 402.)

What works on a trial account

Everything up to the point of release works normally, so you can evaluate the whole build-up:

Create materials, definitions and definition maps.
Create certificates and upload source files.
Review mapped data in document and blocks view.
Make non-destructive edits (hide rows, override cells).
Send a draft for approval.

What is blocked on a trial account

These actions require an active (non-trial) subscription:

Generating XML — including the Generate XML export on a certificate.
Signing a certificate.
Submitting a certificate to its channels.

Managing data channels (creating, editing and testing them) also requires an active subscription.
