Trial limits

On a trial account you can explore and prepare certificates freely. Three release actions are reserved for paid plans: generating XML, signing, and submitting a certificate. If you try one of these on a trial account, DASH refuses it with:

This feature is not available on a trial account. Please upgrade your subscription.

(The underlying response is an HTTP 402.)

Everything up to the point of release works normally, so you can evaluate the whole build-up:

  • Create materials, definitions and definition maps.
  • Create certificates and upload source files.
  • Review mapped data in document and blocks view.
  • Make non-destructive edits (hide rows, override cells).
  • Send a draft for approval.

These actions require an active (non-trial) subscription:

  • Generating XML — including the Generate XML export on a certificate.
  • Signing a certificate.
  • Submitting a certificate to its channels.

Managing data channels (creating, editing and testing them) also requires an active subscription.

To unlock signing, submission and XML generation, upgrade your plan from the billing settings. See Billing & subscription.
